BACKGROUND: For more than 30 years, I have achieved unprecedented revenue, profit and market share growth for some of America’s largest and most respected companies. I attribute this success to leading incredible teams that took limited resources and produced incredible results. Teams that dreamed big, believed in themselves, took calculated risks and never gave up. Teams that realized their full potential and in turn lived richer and more fulfilling lives.

I have established myself as an expert in Sales, Marketing Strategy, Branding, and Business Development. I have a reputation for energizing underperforming business by creating a sense of purpose in my teams. Areas of expertise include: leadership, people development, team building, commercial sales, distribution, advertising, creative development, global strategic planning, brand management, product innovation, packaging, business transition, family business and partnership dynamics, non-profit board and fund development.

My credentials include a degree in Business Administration, with a Marketing focus along with a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Development and a Masters of Business Administration degree.

GROUNDED IN SMALL BUSINESS: I pride myself in understanding and applying large business learning to small business challenges. To this day, I attribute my success and entrepreneurial approach to my time growing up in a successful family business. I understand small business challenges including family transition, time, employees, cash flow, customer service and tough competitive environments. Today, my family businesses are entering their third generation of ownership and the foundation I received early on is a unique and valuable insight I can provide to my clients.

LEARNING FROM GLOBAL FORTUNE 500 COMPANIES: I have over 30 years’ management experiences with leading global fortune 500 companies including General Electric, Anheuser-Busch and Brown Forman. In these roles, I have successfully managed and coached employees and pride myself in recruiting, developing and motivating high performance teams. I have also been tenacious in securing new business, developing and launching new products and services, building customer loyalty, creating and executing global campaigns and forging strong relationships with internal and external business partners. I also know first-hand how to navigate corporate culture in order to produce results.

IN SERVICE TO MY COMMUNITY: I believe that the best way to support my community is to provide support and time to organizations that specialize in building confidence and growth for the long term through mentoring relationships. I believe that a hand up always produces more than a hand out. Organizations I support include: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana – Board of Directors, Sigma Phi Epsilon Residential Learning Community at the University of Louisville – Chapter Counselor and as SCORE Small Business Trainer and Coach.
